The Ferry Street Bridge area is directly north of downtown Eugene, between the Willamette River and I-5, and south of Beltline Road.

It si a popular area of Eugene, with mostly established neighborhoods, and within biking distance of the University and downtown areas. Within its boundaires lies the
Eugene Country Club with its renowned golf course and other amenities. It's also the home of Alton Baker Park, a popular site for recreation and relaxation.

The main business and shopping areas within the Ferry Street Bridge area are located alont Coburg Road, and in and around the Valley River Center Mall.
Oakway Center, just north of the I-105 freeway on Coburg Road contains such stores as Borders Books, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Trader Joe's and others. Valley River Center is one of the tow regional malls within the Eugene/Springfield area. Its anchor stores are Macy's, JC Penney's, and Gottschalk's. In all, Valley River Center contains over 130 local and national stores and restaurants, and many others are located in the immediate area.

The Ferry Street Bridge area is entirely within the 4-J school district, and is served by the following schools.
